Ensure comprehensive evaluation methodology
Developed mixed-methods approach using Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and Beneficiary Surveys
Monitor beneficiary selection and distribution
Created structured KII protocols to verify beneficiary selection criteria (BSC) implementation and distribution procedures
Ensure gender and demographic representation
Implemented gender-balanced sampling with 95 IDP site beneficiaries (77 males, 18 females) and 70 community beneficiaries (46 males, 24 females)
Establish effective feedback mechanisms
Developed and verified complaint mechanisms through MHD field teams and Camp Managers
Provide geographic visualization of operations
Integrated Mapbox mapping with color-coded enumerator assignments (CRT-M09 through CRT-M16)

Results:

The integrated monitoring system significantly improved MHD’s humanitarian operations by combining real-time field progress tracking with structured evaluation methodology. This dual approach ensured both operational efficiency and program quality, while identifying gaps in coverage and verifying that beneficiary selection criteria were properly implemented. The system revealed some eligible beneficiaries missed assistance due to arriving after assessments, providing actionable insights for future operations.
